The artist SAPI3N is a composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, based in a picturesque hamlet, not far from Stone Henge, UK. He started making music when he was 15 on his stepdads crappy classical guitar. He then went to college and bought his first four track recorder, promptly falling in love with the process. Many moons later, he found his true musical direction and later with the advent of streaming services, he started releasing music. He first realised making noise was his ‘thing’ when his ability to learn other peoples music felt so unnatural. Writing his own compositions he saw that its was an emotional outlet he never knew he needed and would eventually depend upon to survive the madness.

SAPI3NS music is genre breaking but in a necessarily subtle way. A mindful blend of ambience woven into gentle electronica after cosmically colliding with the grounding influences of Western and Indian classical music. It is ambience pushed to the edge, structured but often without form, it is melodic yet abstract. It is texture and atmosphere, a journey through multiple sonic narratives. It is an introduction to music as healing modality for those who find the cliches of the new age meditation genre difficult to enjoy.

His Influences are multitudinal, from the complex Genius of Trent Reznor to the generation defining ambient techno of Underworld and Leftfield to the classical masterpieces of Mozart and the genre splicing talents of Talvin Singh. So far he has only officially released his EP ‘EXIT’ as a demonstration of his many influences and styles. He is currently working on his album ‘Exhale’ as a followup to ‘4AM’. This will be more of a deliberately ambient, meditative sonic journey, yet still maintaining his artistic vision. He has written many compositions for stage and short films. He is also the co-founder of Holistic Audio and the resident Sound Architect.

SAPI3N is a synthesis of sound, music, technology and sonic art.

His mission: To push the boundaries and unravel the cliches of the new age genre. To communicate through sound that, with positive intention in creativity, healing spaces of all styles can be created.
